Dr. Amanj Abdullah Saeed
a senior academic and higher-education official in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He is currently identified by Kurdish universities as Senior Advisor to the KRG Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and he has represented the Minister at official university and academic events.
His work appears to focus particularly on higher-education reform, medical education, curriculum development, academic quality, and university development. For example, the University of Sulaimani identifies him as the supervisor of curriculum development for medical colleges and reports that he has worked on aligning academic programs with labor-market needs and international scientific and medical developments.
He has held an advisory role at the Ministry for at least a decade: archived KRG Ministry records show him serving as an advisor in 2016 and participating in official higher-education delegations to Germany and Jordan.
